Everything in the photo is paled out. Look at the foliage, the bakground and her hair. I think it's more of an artistic choice to make the entire cover pale, than a racist one. I'm more surprised about the lack of outrage when the Kardashians use so much tanner that they look like Tan Mom or Rachel Dolezal. Makeup is fun, but cultural appropriation isn't.
