1. ABORTION, ABORTION, ABORTION. Abortions were NEVER the most important issue among women. Because GOP men constantly (cleverly) threatened to take it away from us, women’s groups focused almost solely on women’s reproductive rights instead of electing women who’d protect it and us. Meantime, 24% of women want/have had abortions but 100% of women need the ERA, equal pay for equal work, free or affordable access to mammograms, and if they have kids, affordable, dependable child care. 2. HAMMERED BY WOKE. When a first grader has to identify her/his/their “pronoun” on the first day of school — before they even know what a pronoun is — it all became too much for many parents.
